I was never a Girl Scout, but I had friends that were.  I suppose times have changed, dramatically, since then.  But I struggle to understand why an organization like the Girl Scouts would have anything to do with Vanessa Hudgens.  Hudgens showed up to premiere her upcoming movie “Bandslam” for some Los Angeles area Girl Scouts.

She started out as a “good girl” Disney starlet in those High School Musical movies, but with two rounds of Vanessa Hudgens naked pictures that have been widely circulated on the web, aren’t we teaching these girls the wrong things?  I thought parents were trying to explain to their daughters that it’s not a good idea to be taking naked pictures of themselves on their cell phones and sending them to boys.  And now they have the poster child of “sexting” hanging out with their daughters.  Looks like the Girl Scouts will be adding a new badge that the girls can earn “sexting.”

Hey, next week look for Miley Cyrus to be named a troop leader.

When I sat down today, I wasn’t sure what I would be doing this weekend…I know what I’m doing now.

John Hughes, the movie maker of the 80’s has died of a heart attack today.   Hughes was in Manhattan, visiting family, when he was taking a walk and was stricken with a heart attack.

Hughes’ movies include Breakfast Club, 16 Candles, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Planes Trains and Automobiles and countless others.  His movies were responsible for the creation of many of today’s celebrities careers.

I’m going to be doing a John Hughes marathon.  I can’t watch Ferris Bueller enough!

Wow!  Tom Sizemore managed to go two whole months before getting popped and ending up in jail again.  LAPD picked him up last night in a not so pretty are of LA for domestic abuse.  He’s being held on $20,000 bail.

The last time Sizemore got busted for domestic abuse was back in 2003 when he put the smack down on former girlfriend Heid Fleiss.

But Sizemore’s no stranger to the California Penal Code:

• 2003 convicted of misdemeanor charges for physically abusing and harassing Heidi Fleiss
• 2005 he failed a drug test when it was discovered he used a fake penis to take the test – sentenced to drug rehab for 2 years
• 2006 drug possession charge
• 2007 possession of methamphetamine – sentenced to 16 months of prison for violating parole
• 2009 arrested on charges stemming from the 2007 meth possession
• 2009 domestic abuse

San Antonio Spurs baller, Richard Jefferson, has some serious explaining to do.  Jefferson left his bride to be, Kesha Ni’Cole Nichols standing at the altar just hours before they were to be wed in a lavish $2 million ceremony in Manhattan.

Nichols found out about Jefferson bailing in time to let her family know that the ceremony was off, but Jefferson wasn’t so kind to a bunch of his friends.  A bunch of his buddies showed up, not knowing that the whole thing had been called off.  But being the “nice guy” that Jefferson is, he gave one of his friends his Black Amex and told the boys to have fun…which they did.

Does anyone else get the feeling that Kesha Ni’Cole Nichols is going to be contacted soon by the Bachelorette people?

Debbie Rowe’s vagina is like a slot machine in Vegas.  After lying in wait for a few years, collecting coins, it just got a $4 million dollar payout.  Rowe signed over her parental rights – again to Michael Jackson’s mother in return for $4 million dollars.

This woman has sold and re-sold these kids like she was doing a property flip in California.  In her first go around, she got a payment of $8 million and an additional $900,000 per year for 5 years.  This agreement was for her to stay out of the kids lives and let Jackson raise the kids.  Then, when the molestation trial was beginning (the first one) Rowe played the parental rights card again and received $4 million and a $900,000 home, for which she gave up her parental rights to Jackson.

Now that she sees that the gravy train has died, she made one last money grab and got $4million to sign over her parental rights once and for all to Jackson’s mom Katherine.  Supposedly the lawyers that wrote this contract tightened it up so that she can’t try to sell her kids anymore.  But who knew you could re-sell the same kids for roughly $22 million?

Uh oh…looks like someone’s ( Nadya Suleman) not happy with losing the spotlight.  (Those bastards Jon and Kate and their eight kids and the divorce – bastards!)

Not to be outdone, by Kate’s straw mullet and Jon’s barely legal girlfriends…Nadya Suleman, Octomom, is rearing her ugly head again.  Her latest claim is that her house is haunted (wait for it) by children.  Really?  You’ve got 14 kids in that house, that all came from your insides.  I’d say your house isn’t the only thing haunted by kids.  Someone needs to call Ghost Busters to make sure your hoo hoo doesn’t have anymore kids haunting it.

“This is something you’re not supposed to believe in if you are a believer in God, but it’s something that I’m a little worried about. But when you’re scared, you keep praying and ask it kindly to leave politely, and pray and hopefully that will work.”

Even Suleman’s nannies are playing into her delusions.  In their defense, it is a pretty bad economy so why not go along with your boss.  If pretending to see a ghost is the strangest thing she’s asking of you to keep your job, why not?  At least she’s not asking you to pump her stomach.  I’ve had bosses ask me to do stranger things to keep my job.  One of her nannies said she heard a noise then saw a small child run into a room, but noone was there when she looked for it.  Hmmm…with 14 kids running around that house  are you sure it wasn’t just one of the older kids looking for some much needed attention?

Former figure skating champion, Nicole Bobek, was charged yesterday with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.  The prosecutor charges that Bobek was in the “upper echelon” of a drug trafficking ring.

Bobek had to be extradited from Florida, where she was arrested, to New Jersey.  She appeared at her arraignment via closed circuit television looking remarkably different than she did in her 1995 ice skating hey days.  Bobek was wearing the required green prison garb and short dark hair.  Very inmate next door looking.

Nicole Bobek is being held on $200,000 bond.

Griffin O’Neal attempted to attend Farrah Fawcett’s funeral, but was denied at the door.  Turns out his name wasn’t on the list, so Ryan O’Neal had him bounced.

Griffin complained that he and his family drove 300 miles to pay their last respects to Farrah (she is not Griffin’s mother) and that they should be allowed in.  Ryan O’Neal still seems to be a little pissed off at Griffin for swinging that fireplace poker at him, causing daddy O’Neal to shoot a gun at son O’Neal and then get arrested.

Druggie son, Redmond O’Neal, doesn’t seem to be holding a grudge even though he was chained up during the fireplace poker gunslinging action.  Of course, he’s been self-medicating himself for a few years now.  But it was nice to see that the penal system found it in their hearts to give him a day pass to attend his mother’s funeral.  Farrah Fawcett must be so much happier now that she’s out of all that family drama.

Looks like Kate Gosselin might be cracking under the weight of her self-built castle.

In front of paparazzi, on Saturday, a pissed off Kate spanked her daughter Leah.  Pictures were taken and ths sh*t storm has begun.  Of course this debate will go well beyond the topic of “to spank or not to spank.”  Because it involves Kate and Jon Gosselin it will escalate into something much larger.

Jon better start stepping up to the plate here because when the divorce is finally over with, he’s going to end up with primary custody of the eight kids.  When will he have time to go out to the bars and party, get to age 54 and ultimately end up marrying a 19 year old?

Poor Al Roker must have drawn the short straw this morning.  He was the unlucky person that got stuck interviewing Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt after their illustrious visit to I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.

The sanctimonious gruesome twosome are skilled at avoiding and not answering questions, and that skill was on full display here.

After the interview, or skewering as Heidi likes to think of it, she called into the Ryan Seacrest radio show and belly ached to him that she felt that she had been attacked by him and would advise other women not to be interviewed by Roker.  I would have to agree with Heidi on that one…if you are as vacuous and irritating as Heidi Montag – don’t have Al Roker interview you.  In fact, if you are as idiotic as Heidi Montag (and Spencer Pratt for that matter) do us all a favor and keep working that stripper pole and scraping gum off the streets and give up on the dream of 15 minutes of fame.
