I realized, after I wrote this headline, that I could be talking about how Sherri Shepherd has a job….but that’s that mystery has yet to be solved.  Maybe one of those super bright Nobel Peace Prize winners could work on that for next year.  Meanwhile….Sherri “how do I function in life” Shepherd has bestowed on us more of what is floating around in her brain.

As you may remember, or not, she is the idiot savant who spouted that she didn’t know if the world was flat or round, because she never thought about it….she also didn’t seem to be aware that Patti LaBelle is African American…and now tells us how she’s had numerous abortions, so many she doesn’t want to count them.  And that little nugget was divulged in an interview with Christian magazine “Precious Times.”  Oh yeah, she also eludes to a couple of prominant Christian women who could come on the show “lay hands on Barbara Walters and get her saved.”  Maybe Barbara should have them on, get “saved” and come to her senses and throw Sherri back into the masses of wanna be’s.

The literary world was stunned today by a revelation from Katie Price aka Jordan. She doesn’t write her own books!

“I’m not going to lie, I don’t sit there with a typewriter and write it, of course I don’t,” she said.

“I don’t have time to do that. I say how I want the storyline to be, each chapter is done, I read through it change it and then it goes away to be written.

“So I’m not going to sit here and say I write it word by word because I’d be lying. I actually say how I want the story and that’s how it happens.”

So let’s see….fake hair, fake eyelashes, fake boobs, fake writing, fake sense of fashion.  Gained fame for being a pinup.  Hmmmm….didn’t see that writing announcement coming.

Matthew Mcconaughey recounts his labor experience with OK! Magazine.

“We found a great rhythm. Contractions started kicking in. I sat there with her, right between her legs. We got tribal on it, we danced to it! I was DJ-ing this Brazilian music. “I have it all chronicled. Becoming a dad is something I’ve dreamed of doing since I was 10. Becoming a father felt very, very natural. We were jamming! She was sweating. No painkiller, let’s go. “I said to her, ‘Let’s handle this - let’s stay in the rhythm. Don’t let the contraction be more than you.”

Apparently nobody explained to Matthew what birthing a baby is really like, because he also said the experience was “pukey and sweaty.” But then followed that with a “in a good way.” Way to participate in those birthing classes Matthew. I’m guessing he missed that class because he was hungover in a jungle looking for his flip flop that day.  At least he wasn’t playing the bongos during the delivery.  Camila probably would have had him kicked out of the room.

Christian Bale reportedly lost his shit on the set of Terminator 4 last week.  When the director of cinematography, Shane Hurlbut (insert juvenile joke here) messed up a shot, Christian screamed that he was going to “kick his ass,” among other niceties.

Eh, I’m not putting too much stock into this story.  I mean, who hasn’t had a bad day and lost their shit on someone who screwed up.  It happens.

But there are also reports floating around that coupled with all the stress he’s got with filming one movie, and promoting the one of the biggest movies to date, there may be some stress in his marriage too (although that would be fairly normal as well).  I’m betting the altercation with his mom and sister was a case of mom pushing too many buttons at the wrong time….cause mothers have a way of doing that really well.

As long as he doesn’t go all Psycho (see him in American Psycho - fantastic movie)…

After almost two years of discussions, Renzo Rosso of Diesel fame, has acquired a majority stake in Victor & Rolf.  The story appeared in today’s WWD.

You probably already know Diesel, for its line of denim.  Until Victor and Rolf did that small line for H&M, they had only done couture clothing.  Now that Rosso is involved with them, the plan is to roll out more ready to wear along with licensed products and some free standing stores.

They make some really cool stuff, and by the time I got to H&M they were all sold out, so I’m pretty stoked about this.

Kate Walsh was at the premiere of AMC’s show Mad Men last night wearing what appears to be fashions answer to the mullet.    This little navy frock is all business in the front and party in the back.

Kate normally looks very nice.  No tops cut to the top of her hoo hoo, no dresses that are so short as to expose her secret of whether she’s got hardwood floors or shag carpeting.  But last week, she showed up at the Espy’s looking like a Vegas showgirl, minus the headdress,  and now she’s sporting this.  Hmmmm….third times the charm.  So her next event outfit should be interesting.

Christian Bale is sitting in a London Police Station this morning answering questions, after being arrested, regarding claims that he assaulted his mom and sister after the movie premier of The Dark Knight.  Mom and sis pressed charged…thus the arrest.

We’ll have to wait and see how this one pans out.

Jessica Simpson, desperate to show everyone that she really does have some talent, opened for Sara Evans in Wisconsin this weekend.  While this picture shows her thoroughly enjoying herself onstage, she was pretty much the only one enjoying her performance.  The fine country music loving people of Wisconsin booed her.  In fact, one concert goer went so far as to say “she’s an embarrassment to country music.” OUCH!

Jessica’s now entered into the realm of referring to herself in the third person too.  She realized, at some point, that the crowd wasn’t exactly with her and said:

“I don’t know what your perception is of Jessica Simpson or what tabloid you buy, but I just want you to know that I’m just a girl from Texas.  I’m just like you. I’m doing what I love and dating a boy.”

Ummmm right, you’re just like us.  If we had a line of hair extensions, a perfume, a shoe line, a clothing line, a famous football player boyfriend.  But hey, other than that we’re just alike.

Courtney Love has applied her Shakespearean writing talents to her blog again in a rather nonsensical rant against Ryan Adams.  Courntney, who seems to take to the vampire hours of overnight for her writing jaunts (as can also be seen by her blue white color of her moon tanned skin) has unleashed her KooKoo Cherry persona on Ryan.

I’m giving you the Cliff Notes version here: One of her 29 AmEx cards, that she had been unaware of, seems to have been used to finance Ryan Adams’ album “Rock and Roll.”  She goes on to claim that he spent $858,000 of her (then changes it to Frances Bean’s money) money making the record, buying drugs, buying dinner at Nobe, a vacation in Jamaica, guitars, outboard gear, and commissions.  She also mentions Edward Norton in her rant, but it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense.  (Shocking, I know.)

Oh yeah, she also talks about the fact that she had sex with him, that “he’s pretty dirty,”  and compared to him she’s the Virgin Mary.

She’s been taking to her blog quite a bit in the last few days, must be getting to be a full moon or something.  So we’ll see what other things she has to say.
