First off, this is not me being mean to Chelsea Clinton. This is a legitimate story…so no hate mail.
Back in 2000 Godwin Kipkemoi Chepkurgor offered Bill Clinton 40 goats and 20 cows for daughter Chelsea Clinton’s hand in marriage. You see, by Kenyan standards, that is an extremely generous offer. You could think of it as what would you give to be married to Orlando Bloom or Miranda Kerr (depending on which side of the gender fence you’re on). It’s that kind of generous.
Hillary Clinton was in Kenya this week and Mr. Chepkurgor extended the offer again. Hillary assured him that he would pass the offer along to Chelsea.
Although Chepkurgor is currently married, his wife knows about his offer and is okay with it. I’m sure she laughed hysterically at him and said “sure, if you want to give all of our livestock to marry that American girl…go for it. Just know that that’s all you will have when I’m done with you.” Or something similar in nature.
Of course, Chelsea Clinton would have to breakup with her boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky.

When my mother was in Saudi, she was offered quite a bit more than that for me, I’m pleased to say. And Brooke Shields’ mom was offered 40 racing camels.
