The Beastie Boys have made the announcement that their upcoming tour and forthcoming album, Hot Sauce Committee Part 1, is also being pushed back. The reason for all of this is the announcement made by Adam (MCA) Yauch that he has been diagnosed with cancer. The cancellation and postponement have been done so that Yauch can have surgery and recover.
Adam Yauch was diagnosed, last week, with having a cancerous tumor on his salivary gland. Yauch’s cancer was caught very early, so the expectation is that he will have surgery and then need recovery time.
