Well this is an interesting turn of events…especially for the holiday weekend. Sarah Palin just held a press conference in which she announced she was resigning as the governor of Alaska. Huh…go figure…Sarah Palin stepping down?
Didn’t see that one coming. I, like many others, thought Palin would follow the yellow brick road as far as someone could drag her. Wasn’t she considered the second coming for the Republican party, at one point?
There must be something brewing in the salmon stockpot at the Palin house for this kind of announcement. Although, it was a crafty move announcing it on a government holiday like that…in hopes that maybe another big celebrity might die over the weekend and the whole thing would go virtually unnoticed.
Any thoughts on this? Why do you think she did this? Could it be that Sarah Palin has some more ghosts in the closet that are starting to come out and she doesn’t want to subject her family to any more of this fuckery? (Although I find it hard to believe that she gives a rats ass about her family…I think it’s mostly about her.)
David Letterman is sure to be back at Palin again, this time apology free.
