Claiming that his self-imposed sabbatical is to focus on his family, Sean Penn has pulled out of two upcoming movies. Penn has pulled out of Cartel and The Three Stooges, which were scheduled to begin filming this year.
Hmmmm….being that the divorce proceedings were withdrawn again, does this mean that Penn, and wife Robin Wright-Penn are actually trying to work this whole marriage thing out – again? (Hey, third times the charm.) Maybe the rumors of him hooking up on set are true and he thinks he should remove himself from the situation. Although his co-stars on The Three Stooges are Jim Carrey and Benicio Del Toro, maybe there’s a man crush with Jim Carrey he just doesn’t want to deal with the temptation.
