Reese Witherspoon is the latest celebrity to assume that we want to smell like her, and is working with Avon to deliver her “signature” sent this fall.
While Witherspoon and Avon have worked long and hard to develop her scent, called In Bloom, to include top notes of Georgia peach, tea leaves and crisp greens; a heart of star gardenia, magnolias and night-blooming jasmine, and a drydown of cashmere woods, hypnotic florals and amber wood crystals, I think she’s cheating her true fans.
If she really wanted us to smell like her, I imagine the fragrance to be more like: top notes of baby powder, play-doh, horses, hay, a twinge of adultering bitterness; a heart of Jake Gyllenhaal perspiration, and a drydown of pink bubble gum.
