The independent producers of the Miss California pageant, K2 Productions, has fired Carrie Prejean as Miss California due to continued breach of contract.
Apparently, after her big press conference with Donald Trump; Shanna Moakler; Tami Farrell; and seemingly everyone else under the sun, in which Trump backed her up and allowed her to retain her crown, she’s apparently been not too willing to make appearances that are part of her contract. In fact, after she was able to keep her crown, Shanna Moakler stepped down from her position with the Miss California pageant because she was so upset with how the whole thing was handled.
“I told Carrie she needed to get back to work and honor her contract with the Miss California Organization and I gave her the opportunity to do so,” Trump said in the same documents. “Unfortunately it just doesn’t look like it is going to happen and I offered Keith my full support in making this decision.”
Sources are saying that Prejean wants to write a book (this ought to be good…considering she has shown herself to be so articulate when she has opened her mouth to speak about anything) and to pursue “other activities.” May I suggest a run for Penthouse Pet of the Year?
I wondered if Shanna Moakler would want to come back after Prejean was canned. Thanks for answering my question Shanna!
