Boo hoo hoo…feel sorry for me becuase I’m beautiful and I can’t get any good parts as a result.
Ugh, that’s Jessica Biel belly aching in the June issue of Allure. “I’m in there with everybody else, fighting for the good parts. Yes, ‘The Illusionist’ has made a difference — but a huge, massive difference, so I can pick and choose what I want? No.” She says she wants a career like Scarlett Johansson or Natalie Portman. And Jessica is all bummed out that her beauty precludes her from even getting calls to audition for certain parts.
I’ve got a newsflash for you Jessica Biel – how about if you go take some more acting classes so that you become a better actress. That’s one of the reasons Johansson and Portman have better careers (because in a lot of circles both of those girls are considered more beautiful than you are dear). If I’m reading her sobbing correctly, she just seems to take whatever projects are offered to her because “no one” will call her for an audition. How about being a little choosier with your roles. That stripper gig you recently did went straight to DVD because it sucks. And if history is anyway to choose your roles…look at Elizabeth Berkley.
