This whole look Amber Tamblyn is trying to work here reminds me a lot (and in a scary way) of when I was little, and my younger brother wanted to dress up like a princess or some other girlie character so he could put on my mothers lipstick and carry around a purse.  (But that’s for another discussion.)  So he would grab the dirty sheets out of the laundry basket and and wrap them around himself and then put on the brightest shade of lipstick he could find (oh, he looked like a clown, but that’s not the point).  While this was going on, I’d go and get my little white cotton gloves and purse for him and he would float around my parents bedroom thinking of things that I never did really find out about, but he looked happy and he wasn’t beating the crap out of me.
