While Miss California, Carrie Prejean, is out on her world crusade against same sex marriage we just keep learning more and more about her.  Shanna Moakler, yes that Shanna Moakler, was interviewed by Billy Bush for Access Hollywood.  Shanna is actually the Co-Executive Director of the Miss California Organization, and she confirmed to Billy that the pageant paid for Carrie Prejean’s breast implants just weeks before she competed in the Miss USA competition.  (I’ve included before and after pix for your curiosity.)

I think the whole breast implant topic is being brought up by the pageant committee because they’re pretty pissed off at the fact that Prejean has all but bailed on her original platform of the Special Olympics, and has gone full throttle “revealing her opportunistic agenda” and working with an organization called The National Organization of Marriage.  She appeared on the Today show with Matt Lauer to promote her “new platform” as well as push for people to view her latest YouTube rant.

“The statement by the Miss California USA Pageant is another example of the disrespectful way the pageant has treated Carrie Prejean,” Maggie Gallagher, president of NOM, said in a statement.

“Carrie Prejean does not have an opportunistic agenda. She’s a young woman of courage who chose truth over the Miss USA tiara. Many people are revealing their core character and convictions in a very public way in this incident,” Gallagher said.
