Let me present to you William “Jeff” Komlo, former NFL player with the Detroit Lions. In fact, he was a standout player at the University of Delaware and a starting quarterback for the Lions. He also played for the Atlanta Falcons and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That’s pretty impressive.
Four years ago, he failed to show up for sentencing regarding a couple of drunk driving offenses in Chester County, Pennsylvania. And when he did that, the Federal Marshall’s Office issued a big ol’ arrest warrant for his ass. I guess he thought that running was a pretty good idea considering he was also being looked at for an arson fire at his Pennsylvania home, and another arson fire at his West Palm Beach, Florida home.
Fast forward to 2009, when karma comes calling. Jeff Komo was killed in a car accident in Greece. There have been no details released regarding the accident other than they ran the fingerprints of the person killed in the crash and they turned out to be those of William “Jeff” Komlo. Ain’t karma a bitch?
