Any fans of Bugs Bunny cartoons (the older ones) will recognize Gossamer, the furry red monster. But has anyone noticed that Weight Watcher’s new character “Hungry” looks an awful lot like Gossamer? I think the WW commercials are pretty funny, but I can’t believe that Warner Brother’s hasn’t sued them for infringement. Enjoy the commercials while they last.

Gossamer was the first thing I thought of when I saw the commercial. I thought weight watchers paid to bring him back to life. Minus the tennis shoes. Hmph! Foolish of them if they didn’t pay up to use that character. Lack of imagination to the WW marketing team, to boot.
