Angelina Jolie begins filming her new project “Salt” today. She plays a Russian sleeper spy named Evelyn Salt. I only point this out because this movie was originally called “Edwin A. Salt” with the lead being played by Tom Cruise. For whatever reason, salary dispute, time constraints, Xenu complaining that he wasn’t going to get producer rights, Cruise pulled out and Angelina swooped in.
On to a more pressing question. Do we like Angelina as a blonde? I’m kind of liking the look. It’s a nice change from the dark and brooding (no pun intended) look she’s been wearing for quite some time now. It takes me back to her wack-a-doo days. In fact, I’m waiting for this stuffy, dour, holier than though act to crack. At some point, she’s bound to let slip that she carries Shiloh’s placenta around as a purse and has crafted the twins umbilical cords into hair accessories. I miss the old crazy blood toting Angelina Jolie, don’t you?
