Mel Gibson was on Jimmy Kimmel’s post Oscar show, and I missed the first go around. They re-played it on Friday and I can’t quite figure this out. He’s promoting his “The Passion of the Christ” which has been released on DVD and is apparently trying to clean up his image following his apocolyptic drunken rant against officers who pulled him over in Malibu three years ago.
But seriously Mel, the goatee? He looks a bit like Burl Ives from his snowman days, but more like Colnel Sanders. Given Gibson’s anti-semitic and misongynistic rants me thinks that most people will side with the old, white, Southern, military refrenced guy when asked of his resemblance. That’s what you pay managers and PR people for…to keep you from physically looking like what people think you are.
