My Best Friend’s Girl sucked at the box office….he was evicted from the apartment complex that was the mental and emotional reason his career has been so successful because he couldn’t be bothered to pick up his dog’s crap, and now his brother has stolen millions from him. His brother had been a business manager for him since the 1990’s.
Darryl McCauley was arraigned today on charges including forgery and larceny. At one point he forged and cashed a check for $3 million. The guy was paid $12,500/month and can’t figure out why people would think he was stealing from Dane.
McCauley allegedly used the money to buy four cars, and to take a seven-day trip across the country, during which included taking trains, planes, and automobiles. Prosecutors say investigators raided a Maine home McCauley owned and found $800,000 in cash in a safe. There’s also a $150,000 real estate investment in Florida. Gee, I don’t know why they might be looking at him.
Apparently Dane Cook was right when he said leaving that apartment complex would be the downfall of his career.
