Mark Burnett is giving us all another reason to gouge our eyes and ears out. He’s got so many reality shows in the works now, that he’s concerned he might miss some “talent” out there using their traditional methods of auditioning. So now he’s teamed up with a company that makes stand alone studios (kiosks).
Because tone deaf warbling at the Houston airport isn’t torture enough for us. They are planning on putting these performance kiosks in stores and malls. For around $20, you can jump into one of these things and make your own audition video that goes directly to their casting people.
‘Cause that’s what we need more of….people acting like complete morons at stores. Isn’t it bad enough when you get behind someone who doesn’t understand that the item they picked up was on the sale rack because some slob was too lazy to put it back where they got it? And then, when they finally decide they can’t live without said item, they write a check?
