NBC, in an attempt to promote its new show Crusoe, is building a tree house at the corner of Broadway and 51st Street in New York. They’ve got a 24 hour live webcam feed so you can watch all the “fun and excitement.” Or watch all the perverted action that occurs after hours between the club rats and or homeless – whoever gets their first. On Thursday, the stars of the show, Philip Winchester and Tongayi Chirisa are going to be there.
I was on their website: SaveCaruso.com this morning. BOOOOORRRRRRRING! They’ve got the camera trained on one small specific spot. There was an actor there sitting down slicing up a mango and no sound. Brilliant move for a communication company like NBC. There’s more production value, and about as little entertainment value, in an SNL short by Andy Samberg.
