Remember when Courtney Love said that her stuffed bear purse, that contained Kurt Cobain’s ashes, was stolen? Well, maybe we found out who’s carrying that designer plushie around.
Natascha Stellmach, and Australian born artist, claims to have Kurt Cobain’s ashes rolled into a joint that she plans to smoke in Berlin. Oh, I should also tell you that she’s got an art installment called Set Me Free. The topic of said installation is suicide and “the power of desecration.” The installment has 5 parts to it and the last part is a joint, containing Kurt’s ashes, and is held in an antique glass case engraved with the art piece’s title. By smoking the Cobain joint, Stellmach says that she will be releasing Cobain “into the ether from the media circus.” Ummm….ok.
Just waiting for the Courtney Love response. It should be anytime now.
