If you didn’t get enough Michael Phelps during the Olympics…you’ll be able to catch him in just a few weeks on Saturday Night Live. Yes, the water phenom is going to be making his acting debut on September 13th, the show’s season opener. While I was glued to my TV during his events, being a former swimmer I was gasping in awe, and I adore his physique…I’m not so sure that his acting is going to be anything I’m terribly interested in. Maybe he’ll do all of his sketches in a Speedo..and not that androgynous Lazer suit either – a good ol’ fashioned banana hammock. Then I probably won’t care what he’s saying. Oh yeah, Lil’ Wayne is going to be the musical guest that night. Get the tie in? Phelps was listening to Lil’ Wayne on his iPod to get motivated before his events. Pretty crafty thinking on the part of old man Lorne Michaels no?
