When I first read this story, I thought I was still in my sake induced haze and my coffee hadn’t quite kicked in yet. But 3 cups of coffee later…the story is still there and it reads the same. “Ex-White House Aide is suing Disney for stealing his idea for the movie Swing Vote.” Seriously? Who would admit to penning that crap? That’s like admitting that you are the one that was really responsible for burning down Chicago, and not Mrs. O’Leary’s cow, and you want to be paid for it.
Bradley Blakeman is suing for “monetary and other appropriate relief” from the Hollywood stars and the backers of “Swing Vote,” including the Walt Disney Company. (Ah and he’s named Kelsey Grammer in the suit because he says he originally gave his “copyrighted” script to Kelsey.)
Hey, Bradley! Since the movie only took in $6.2 million, and is sinking fast, I’m not sure what you expect to get out of this. The studio’s lost money…any of the actors that may have had points aren’t going to see any money, etc. In fact, you may want to watch yourself….they may decide to sue you for such a stupid idea.
