Amanda Beard got naked again…this time for PeTA, and not Playboy. Amanda is in China to appear in her 4th Olympics. She held a press conference today to announce her involvement with PeTa. The conference hit a small snag a few hours before it was set to begin. It seems that China thought this might be one of those “protests against China” and they weren’t going to let it go on. Once everything was explained, they let it proceed. Although, if you check out the PeTA site, you’ll see they were strategic about having this done there since they’re a little pissed about China’s fur trade. Amanda was smart to do the press conference there, since China has denied VISA’s to athletes that they believe speak out against their country and the country’s policies.
