Unlike the rest of the Celebutards with their clothing and/or shoe lines, Lindsay Lohan actually has a real clothing company with some real people who know a thing or two about retail and fashion. Who knew? Her company is called Stay Gold LLC and she’s got Kristi Kaylor (part of Mandy Moores clothing line Mblem) and Sarah Haynes Heath (a founding member of Hard Candy who currently works for Smashbox Cosmetics). Not too shabby. The legging line itself is called 6126 (an homage to Marilyn Monroe’s birthday). The line will contain footless tights made from various fabrics with different finishes on them (yes, including those hideous kneepads). But it will also contain legwarmers, and something called an ankle glove. Which, when I looked it up, only appears as a gun holster that you secure near the ankle and conceals your gun very nicely under a pair of slacks. Hmmm….maybe this is a more fashionable accessory than the ankle bracelet she wore during her home incarceration days.
She’s going to be selling these things for $40 - $150 and has already been picked up by Fred Segal, Hillary Rush, and Revolveclothing.com. Maybe this will help her to get insurance for future films.
