If you live on the West Coast, like I do, you might be wondering why today’s Howard Stern Show was a repeat of a show done earlier this week. Well, Artie and his assistant Teddy came to blows – literally.
It started with an heated argument over money, then segued into a more heated argument over his travel accommodations for their trip to Amsterdam. They had to be separated from one another by staff members. Howard said he couldn’t have this going on, after Artie said that Teddy would have been “dead” if he had gotten his hands on Teddy. Artie gave a verbal resignation, which Howard accepted, but told him to go home and cool off.
Artie and Teddy are supposed to be going to Amsterdam, tonight, for the next week. While I think Artie is hilarious, he’s pretty much on his way down and out. A former heroine addict in Amsterdam for a week after a MAJOR blowup where he believes the other guy would be dead if he got a hold of him….you do the math.
