“Everything is about family, I’m putting movies on a backburner.” There is a God! No more insipid comments and speeches from Gwenyth Paltrow.

This is no doubt a publicity stunt, hoping that she’ll be able to bring in some box office bank, since she’s got “Iron Man” coming out this year and is going into filming another movie this fall. Looking at her box office numbers, she hasn’t had a bona fide box office hit movie since 2002’s “Austin Powers Goldmember.”

She made this same comment back in 2005, right around the time her movie “Proof” came out (that one only grossed a bit over $8 million). It’s a good thing she’s not the big draw for “Iron Man.”
