The Donald Combs Over More Than His Hair

March 18th, 2008 · 2 Comments

Trump Vodka Chanell Hallett
While we all know that Donald has a pretty heavy duty combover hairdo, he’s now trying a PR combover technique in hopes that he can make this disappear too. The Trump PR machine is running full tilt today to rid themselves of this. Yesterday, I told you about a naked minor who was serving Trump Vodka at a sponsored tent promotion during the Super Bowl in Phoenix.

His reps are now saying that Chanell Elaine Hallett was there on her own, “to seek publicity for herself,” and that they had nothing to do with her being there. If that’s the case, she’s a pretty clever girl to have managed to have gotten her naked body painted with the Trump Vodka logo.

The official word, in its entirety, from the rep is:

“Drinks Americas contracted with modeling agency Professional Event Marketing of Scottsdale, Arizona to hire three promotional models, all over the age of 21 to be opaquely painted with logos for this event. The three women we contracted through the agency were to promote the brand throughout the evening. All three were in attendance. We do not know why Miss Hallett was there, but she was not there having been hired or working for us. Given the circumstances, we can only guess that she crashed the event to seek publicity for herself.

We are appalled and always work to adhere to our social and civic responsibilities as a premium alcoholic beverage marketing company.”

I thought her MySpace page was a rather interesting read…

About me:
Hey! My name is Chanell, and yes, it is ponounced like the perfume! I’m eighteen-years-old and currently taking a break from college to focus on my career as a full time model. I was attending Scottsdale Community College, but I plan to finish my last 5 years of college at ASU, where I will graduate with a masters in social work to be a relaional counselor. This entails psychology and communications, both great interests of mine. I am moving to Laguna, California to be closer to LA, the hub of where I do a lot of work out of. I am the spokes model as well as a cover model for a new magazine coming out called BAAD. It is a combination of Vogue, Cosmopolitan, and Maxim (with no nudity). It targets not just one audience, but both males and females as it will include everything from exotic cars and boats, fitness, electronics, girls, fashion, beauty tips, sex tips, and much, much more. I will also being doing numerous promotions, launch parties, fashion shows, and print work. I soon will be involved in the film and music industry as well! All in all, my schedule remains extremely busy between shoots, travel, meetings, events, and parties! Aside from work, I enjoy writing, cooking, relaxing, partying, clubs, dancing, friends, movies, and just having a good time. I love to laugh and make others laugh. If I could make someone’s day, everyday, I would. I’m always there for anyone, to talk to, to just listen, to give a hug, to tell you I love you, to make sure you know you’re cared about, or whatever. I live my life to the fullest (which usually tends to be a bit on the wild side) and with no regrets. I’ve made more than my share of mistakes in my lifetime, but in all honesty I cannot say that I regret any of them because I would not be who I am today without the lessons that I’ve learned from them. You can pretty much do or say anything at this point and you won’t surprise me. Whether that is a good thing or a bad thing I don’t know. I’ve been through and seen too much to be too shocked by anything. Life is far too short to freak out about things that could seem big, but in the scheme of things are really inconsequential. I am who I am and more than comfortable in my own skin. Pretty much, what you see is what you get, no more, no less, but there is a lot more to me than what meets the eye. If you don’t like me, you don’t have to, but know that I will not change who I am just to keep anyone happy. If you don’t like me, thats fine, I don’t ask that you do. All I do is ask that you to give me a chance, the same chance I choose to give you. I’m not perfect, but thats ok, noone is. I’m not about to pretend I am. I’m for real and legit as they come. I never pretend I’m something or someone I’m not. I strive to remain proof that there still are some real people in this crazy world of phonies and fakes. I’ll never tell you something just cause its what you wanna hear. I’m straight up and honest and if you can’t do the same or accept that, than we prolly won’t get along too well. I hate drama and immaturity, so if all your’re about is starting drama than please don’t even bother. I’m never one to start drama and I’m def. not one to enjoy it. Life has enough shit of its own, why create more. If you wanna get to know me any more than that, I guess you’ll just have to talk to me!

Bravo to a fellow Hallett! Yes, my maiden name is Hallett. I am the author of 18 book, most of them fun novels. In fact, one of them is about a top model named Monday Knight (also the name of the book). It is wonderful to see Channell’s moxie! I’m proud to be (maybe) kinfolk to such a fun gal!
