An interesting note on Jessica Alba. Page Six ran a little post about Jessica’s contribution to Ellyn Spragins‘ upcoming book “If I Knew Then.” The book has several essays from famous women, under 40, with different backgrounds. They all submitted essays with different bits of wisdom that they’ve gained as they’ve gotten older and hope to pass on to other women.
Jessica’s pearls of wisdom include such things as: having big boobs, by sixth grade, caused her to be labeled a slut by teachers and some parents, boys are awful…until they’re 20-21 they’re nothing but hormones, crushes are fun….but the BEST one: “use birth control and condoms, please.” Hmmmmm what’s the message there? I may have missed something in celebrityville, but I’ve never heard that she’s (a) a role model for young girls OR (b) done any charity work/PSA’s for birth control or combating sexually transmitted diseases. So, reading between the lines, I can only guess that she’s less than pleased with her current sperminated condition and/or her baby daddy. There have been plenty of young actresses and celebutards, that have gotten pregnant and had babies recently that - at least appear to be happy their situation, but not Jessica. She’s carried her sourpuss face from beginning.
