Ah to be a little girl today and aspire to look like Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, J Lo, and Amy Winehouse. Yes, it’s true, or at least some business people in London think girls aspire to look like Amy. Amy Winehouse is launching her own brand of Rehab Chic clothing and cosmetics so her fans can copy her unique thrift store style. They’re talking about her coming out with bandanas, eye liner, hairspray and perfume.

“She has become a fashion icon despite not always looking too fresh.”

How do you capture all of the essences of Amy into one bottle, making sure to include all of the nuances of crack smoke, blood, dirt, sweat, Aquanet hairspray, vodka, bourbon, bad breath, tattoo parlor and convenience store? That should be quite the intriguing scent.

Don’t you think a fashion and cosmetic line is a bit limiting? Why not come out with a “Rehab Amy” doll? and you could have “Jailhouse Blake” as your boyfriend. “Rehab Amy” would have all kinds of accessories too. She could have a tattoo set that you could decorate Amy’s body with tattoos and you could have your own matching temporary tattoos to match. A set of “Rehab Amy” knives for the self-mutilation of your Amy doll. Then, of course there would be the repair kit so that you could do it over and over again. (doll skin doesn’t heal) She could have a convenience store, for all of her late night munchie needs. She could also have a recording studio. She’d, of course, have lots of skinny jeans, bandanas, ballet flats and vests. She could also have a mini make up kit with a matching one for her owner to make herself look like her doll. Don’t forget all of “Rehab Amy’s” friends like “Crackhead Candy” and “Bartender Billy.”

She’s really missing the boat by not coming out with her own line of hair extensions though. Move over Jessica Simpson and “HairDo” here comes Amy’s “RatsNest.”
